ways to connect
-
Men meet on the first Friday of each month (7–9 pm) for a time of fellowship, transparent sharing, encouragement, and prayer. We share our stories of faith, pray for one another, and engage together in the Daily Evening Prayer. Feel free to bring a Book of Common Prayer and a spirit or non-alcoholic drink to share! Watch the weekly church email for location and date changes on months with a conflict on the first Friday.
-
Men and boys are invited to a quarterly breakfast on the 3 rd Saturday of January, April, July, and October from 7–9 am. This is a time to connect with other men in friendship and fellowship around a hardy breakfast and hear a brief devotional focused on concerns of men. The weekly church email will confirm specific dates and locations.

Men often connect best in one-on-one settings, or small groups. It might be working together on home repairs or a service project for those in need. It could be playing a game, going to a sporting event, hunting, taking a hike, or just having coffee together. This is where we hope to encourage close friendships and mentoring opportunities for the men and boys of Christ Our Peace. It’s a safe space to share deeper struggles and questions or just have fun. Reach out to any of the leadership team to make a connection.
-
This fall we are planning the first Christ Our Peace men’s retreat. This will be a weekend campout with great food, games, discussion, and teaching. Mark your calendars for September 20–21, 2024. Details to follow.

The daily struggles of life include serious challenges at work, in our families, among our friends, and personal health concerns to name a few. These may be awkward to explain and very personal issues. If you feel the need for a visit by a Christian brother or pastor for conversation and prayer, please reach out to us in the men’s leadership team. We respond to requests for prayer in person or over the phone and will respect confidentiality concerns. We desire to love each other well, bear burdens together, and explore the love and amazing grace of God to heal our brokenness.
